Maria Verdoorn

Maria is the dedicated Human Resources Manager at MTI, bringing a wealth of experience and compassion to her role. With a background in the public school system and early intervention special education, Maria transitioned to MTI in 2018, leveraging her specialized skills in critical thinking, organization, perseverance, and effective communication. 

Originally from Oregon, Maria ventured to Nashville, Tennessee, post college to pursue singing and songwriting. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Western Oregon University, a foundation that has shaped her approach as an HR Manager. Maria’s intuitive and professional nature, coupled with her heart for people, enables her to help encourage a positive work culture at MTI. Back in her Oregon roots, Maria values the company’s commitment to a supportive work environment. She takes pride in playing a small role in the success stories of MTI’s amazing employees.  

Outside of work, Maria is a devoted mother to her 4 children, blessed and made busy by their involvement in MANY activities. Her weekends are spent singing in a country cover band and on the worship team at her church. An avid cook and java enthusiast, Maria cherishes family dinners, game nights, and a good cup of coffee.
